Thanks to Bud Hunziker who recommended at the July
meeting that we not use eye hooks or screws but rather flat D hooks on our
paintings so as not to poke a hole in a painting if several are stacked
together. While this is not a
requirement for the Rose Shenson show, please keep it in mind as you frame any
future paintings.
Congratulations
to Karen Adamski, whose paintings are now being sold at Lauren’s Garden,

Note: We will have a white-elephant silent auction at our October meeting (in addition to our regular meeting & demonstrator) to raise money for the guild. So start putting aside those things you can donate to the auction. Doesn’t have to be art related but in good condition. No used clothing; what doesn’t sell, you take back home so bring things that will sell!

October 25: Peggy A. Brennan 'Working in rich oils that capture the spirit of the old masters, the artist presents a fresh look at the time-honored genre of still life! Focus is on the individual vibrancy of subject matter. A sensory quality pervades each image, as nature's fruits, time-worn vessels are infused with properties of light, lustre, texture and color.' www.peggyabrennan.com
