Ongoing Classes

University Art. San Jose Classes
The art classes offered at the San Jose store are conducted by some of the most accredited artists in the Bay Area. We offer classes in three of the basic art mediums: Oil Painting, Watercolors and Pastels. Please call the individual instructors for space availability. Pacific Art League - weekly fine arts classes
The Pacific Art League offers weekly fine arts classes, each quarter, in a variety of media. The League prides itself on individualized attention; so most of their classes allow a maximum of 12 students. Generally classes meet for two to three hours. They also have classes for children.

Hakone
Hakone offers the ongoing art and cultural classes. There is free parking and free garden entrance for all students. Classes meet in the buildings, crafts workshop, or in the gardens. The Art Program brochure is mailed three times per year. Painting on Silk with Natasha Foucault
Thursdays 6:30 to 8:00 PM in sessions of 3 classes.
3 projects - 12″ x 60″ scarves, Natasha will provide all the materials. Contact Natasha on her Web site for more details.

Art classes and workshops with Barbara Stanton
Barbara Stanton offers art classes for adults and children, Miniature Painting Workshops, and the Figure Drawing Workshop with live models.

Campbell Recreation Department
Quarterly Recreation Activity Guide has a section for various art classes. The Guide is available in hard copy at the Campbell Recreation Office, City Hall, the Campbell Library, and on-line. Register by walk-in, phone-in, on-line and touchtone.

Los Gatos - Saratoga Community Education and Recreation
Classes and programs for all ages and levels of experience.

Sandra Jones - drawing human body in charcoal

Oil Painting Classes by Kushlani Hall at University Art
This class is for the person who always wanted to learn how to paint and for painters who enjoy painting with a group of like-minded people.
In this course you will learn how to paint what you see, not what you think you see, to create realistic paintings. In the process you will learn oil painting techniques and color mixing.

Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society
SCVWS has a strong committee to sponsor workshops and demonstrations throughout the year, and for several years in advance. They welcome members and non-members to participate but give first priority to members. For more information about any workshop, contact the person named with the workshop or send an email to workshops@scvws.org.

Society of Western Artists conducts series of workshops and artist demos through the year.
